Self portrait 

The purpose of drawing the self portrait is to apply the things we learned about like adding value by making the parts dark then light. We needed to put what we knew how to draw like the eyes, lips, ears, nose. The part I think I did good on was adding the different values in the backgorund and into the face. The hardest part was trying to shade the background and draw my hair in the value because it blends in but when I smoothed it out it looked a little bit better. My hair was the hard part because I have to make my curles some long and some short.
