The purpose of drawing the charcol drawing is to use values and to take a picture to draw it bigger on a grid paper. My inspiration for the drawing was to draw something easy to start off with. The drawing was supposed to look like a cat but the details in my drawing were a little off and now it looks like an otter. I changed the leafs and made them darker. I think I did good on the body of the cat and the face of thr cat. The challenges were drawing the grapes and leafs because some of the grapes were dark and little so I had to try and combined them both. The grapes had light value to them. I grew as an artist because I learned to add more darker spots around where it shows in the picture. I learned that its okay to make a little mistakes in the drawing just have to touch it up and be how you like it.
